Clement, 86, of Medina, died Thursday, March 12, 1998, in Medina. She was born March 10, 1912, in North Royalton, and had been a Medina County resident for 25 years. Mrs. Clement was a member of Bennetts Corners Community United Methodist Church, where she was very active, and was the choir director and a nursery attendant. She was also a member of York United Methodist Church. She helped her husband on the family farm most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Ellis E. Clement of North Royalton; daughters, Virginia Brush of North Royalton, Donna Claridge of Brunswick and Linda Eaken of Windham, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeffery and David Brush, Scott Claridge, Carol Smith, Barbara Cymanski, and Susan and Donald Eaken III; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Wiltshire Meiche; and daughter, Shirley Rose Clement. Service: 11 a.m. Monday at York United Methodist Church, 6566 Norwalk Road, Medina. September 14, 1913, initiated 10/7/1949, passed to Fellowcraft 12/2/49 and
raised in Gaston G. Allen Lodge #629 on January 6, 1950. When he was 8, he
developed a high fever from diphtheria which injured his optic nerve and
left him blind. He was a 1934 graduate of Lakewood High School. He
received his bachelor's degree from Miami University and earned a master's
degree in vocational education from Ohio State University in 1939. Darling. He and his wife were
married for 48 years. The family asks that those who wish to make a
